TRAINING OVERVIEW

Training and capacity development activities under the FIT Program at the IEC are aimed at;

• Providing capacity building programmes for 900 SME’s for 3 years.
• Providing business advisory services for Ugandan companies.
• Providing consultancy services to Ugandan SME’s in business operations and enhance their access to markets and finance.
• Facilitating the formation of partnerships and joint ventures by publicising Ugandan and foreign companies that are interested in joint ventures and partnerships.
• Facilitating and coordinating Tier 1 contractors and other technical experts to deliver appropriate technical training topics to SME’s in Uganda.

Within this program, a journey and roadmap for participation in the FIT Program is illustrated below;
