About IEC
The Industry Enhancement Center (IEC) is a capacity-building center sponsored by TotalEnergies and operated by the joint venture of Zoramu Consulting Group Ltd and Invest In Africa in support of Ugandan National Content laws, Policies Regulations and Policies.
The IEC’s mandate is to build capacity for Ugandans to achieve maximum participation in Oil and Gas projects by bridging the gap between potential Ugandan suppliers and the Petroleum Industry in support of Ugandan National Content Policy, Legislation, and Regulations.
IEC'S Strategic Objectives
The strategic objectives of the IEC, in line with GOU’s overarching objective to develop a sustainable oil sector, are:

To support Ugandan companies to be able to participate in the oil and gas sector.

To guide and advise Ugandan companies on diversification of their services and personnel into other sectors, projects or regions for business sustainability.
IEC'S Operational Objectives
The IEC shall perform the following operational objectives;

Publicize and disseminate Uganda Oil & Gas sector-related information including; business opportunities; capacity-building opportunities; services provided by various stakeholders, agencies, and partners; Information related to required goods and services; and Guidance for registration on the NSD of the PAU.

Provide enterprise development and business advisory services including; supplier and stakeholder engagements; provide training and capacity-building programs; and coaching and mentoring Ugandan companies.

3.
Provide consultancy services concerning; business operations (including bid management); Diversification and business sustainability; and access to finance support.
