Overview

This (IMS) Training Programme is designed to empower SMEs in Uganda’s Oil & Gas sector with knowledge, tools, and mentorship required to achieve certifications in ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001:2015 (Environment Management System), and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System).

Format & Duration

• In-person instructor led 4 days session of 8 hours each coupled§ by tailored enterprise coaching and mentorship pathway to ISO certification.

Learning Objectives

• Equip SMEs with a comprehensive understanding of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards and their integration into business operations.
• Improve Operational Efficiency: Enable SMEs to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity through IMS implementation.
• Ensure Compliance & Sustainability: Foster adherence to quality, environmental, and safety regulations, aligning with global best practices.
• Facilitate Gap Analysis: Conduct organizational assessments to identify deficiencies and develop customized improvement roadmaps.
• Build SME capacity to implement Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
• Facilitate ISO certification to unlock access to high-value contracts.
• Promote sustainable business practices aligned with Uganda’s Vision 2040 and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
