Overview

This course is tailored for companies that are new to the oil and gas sector in Uganda seeking market entry and understanding of the sector value chain, requirements, operators and opportunities. The training provides updated information on Uganda’s oil and gas project.  

Format and Duration

In-person 2 day session of 6 hours per day. 

Learning Objectives

• Understanding the Oil & Gas sector value chain including upstream, midstream and downstream
• Understanding standards and requirements in the oil and gas sector. 
• National Content awareness and role of the Industry Enhancement Centre in contributing to the national content objectives in Uganda. 
• Overview of services, opportunities and operators across the value chain from exploration to production. 
• Understanding the institutional, legal and regulatory framework of the sector in Uganda.
